Jeans for Genes has announced today its partnership with Chapman Entertainment, the creators of Fifi and the Flowertots, for the third year in a row. Denim-wearing Fifi will represent the charity as pre-school ambassador for Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 1st October.

The aim for this year’s Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in March is to ‘leave prostate cancer nowhere to hide’ and attempt to expose all of the unseen aspects of the disease, from the fact that it can be a taboo topic, to hidden support and information needs of men living with the disease, which are often not fully met.

Visit one of the 1,800 UK branches of Barclays from 10th February and you’ll find miniature copies of the endearing tale of Little and Big Nutbrown Hare on sale at £2 a piece, with all proceeds going to the Child Bereavement Charity. The publisher, Walker Books, author, Sam McBratney and illustrator Anita Jeram generously waived the licensing fee so that every penny goes to the charity.
