SYLVANIAN FAMILIES AND A NOTABLE CHARITY BROUGHT TOGETHER BY LOUIS KENNEDY

 

Flair Plc is delighted to announce that its leading girls’ brand Sylvanian Families is to play a major part in helping to raise funds for a well known UK charity.

 

The Stroke Association’s aim is to support stroke survivors and their families by working with both adults and children who have been affected by stroke. In a new fundraising initiative, the charity is to launch Sylvanian Families pin badges which can be purchased for just £1.00. The campaign starts mid-April when over 70,000 badges go on sale in approximately 1700 branches of Barclays Bank

 

The badges are being produced by Louis Kennedy, who was instrumental in bringing the two parties together after being approached by The Stroke Association to find the right brand for a pin badge campaign. Their careful research found Sylvanian Families to be the perfect fit and this has resulted in badges with five designs of classic Sylvanian Families characters.

 

Speaking of the partnership, Lindsay Hardy, Marketing Director of Flair commented: “We are delighted that Sylvanian Families characters will be helping The Stroke Association with their pin badge campaign. The Stroke Association is such a worthy cause to be involved with, as this condition affects so many people in one way or another and not just older people. In particular the Association’s links with children was particularly poignant for us; people may not be aware that children and babies can have strokes. Plus many children are involved in helping to care for older family members affected by stroke.
