Guide Dogs
Barclays welcome ‘Trusty’ guide dogs!
Barclays branches across the UK are home to very special guide dogs between 20 July and 6 September – Trusty, the toy guide dog puppy who is helping to raise money for Guide Dogs.
The charity was chosen as one of Barclays' counter top appeal charities for 2010 and the ‘Bang on the Door’ style puppy will be sold for a donation of £2 in branches nationwide. Guide Dogs wants to raise over £100,000 from this appeal.

The puppy was designed and produced in collaboration with Louis Kennedy and Start Licensing.
Gareth Holmes from Guide Dogs commented: “We hope that customers of Barclays will love Trusty’s iconic Bang on the Door design and buy one the next time they pop into their local branch.
“It costs £5 per day to support each working guide dog partnership so every Trusty that customers buy will help thousands of blind and partially sighted people to enjoy freedom of movement.”
