BBC Children in Need, The Tweenies and The Muppets

The objective: to raise participation and income using an alternative intellectual property to Pudsey Bear.

The know-how: Louis Kennedy brokered ground-breaking Cause-Related Licensing deals with BBC Worldwide and The Jim Henson Company, securing long-term rights of both Tweenies and The Muppets for BBC Children in Need, leading to the development of unique character collectables.

The results: Over three years, the initiative raised £ 500,000 net, through a cross section of retail partners including McDonalds, HSBC and The Arcadia Group.
