The HBOS Million Pound Challenge: 2003-2008
The objective: a fundraising initiative where funds raised by staff were matched pound for pound by the bank. Find the right strategic charity partners for HBOS by creating a manageable and intelligent screening process.
The know-how: we devised and implemented a selection and short-listing system, setting out clear criteria that met the objectives of the HBOS Foundation and fitted with the company’s social responsibility programme. We acted as a conduit for applications helping the company through the evaluation and communication process.
The results: we created a proactive selection system and, in the final year of the programme, a record-breaking £4 million was raised and shared between three strategically relevant charities.
